MUMBAI: Why Bollywood’s cutest couple Bipasha Basu and John Abraham split after being together for so many years?
Bipasha has often suggested that John was cheating on her. But John has not said much about their split.
But now sources close to John have blamed Bipasha’s cheating for their split. These sources say Bipasha had a fling with Josh Hartnett – her co-star of her Hollywood film Singularity.
Mid-Daty quoted the sources as saying, “John and Bipasha had parted ways much before the split became public. The relationship was on the rocks for many years and before the actual break-up, they had gone their separate ways a dozen times and later patched up. The relationship could be best termed as unstable. However, the last time they parted ways over two years ago, Bipasha had a much-publicised fling with Hollywood actor Josh while the two were shooting for Singularity.”
After his split with Bipasha, John started dating Priya Runchal. This infuriated Bipasha.
“Shortly after news broke that John was involved with someone from outside the industry, Bipasha used the media to accuse him of cheating, which has deeply hurt and saddened him,” say the sources.
“John wants to move on with his life and settle down. While he wishes her well, he hopes Bipasha stops making false allegations against him,” add the sources.
According to Mid-Day, John was forced to reveal to his close friends the facts about their break-up after some reports blamed him for Bipasha’s ouster from Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming gangster film.
