MUMBAI: Rupesh Paul, the director of the much-awaited Kamasutra 3D featuring Sherlyn Chopra, has made a shocking revelation, saying that all the producers he met wanted to sleep with Sherlyn Chopra and other girls to be cast in the film.
“Their first question was ‘Is Sherlyn Chopra okay?’ They wanted me to become a pimp actually. All the producers who wanted to produce Kamasutra 3D wanted to sleep with all the girls,’’ Rupesh Paul told glamsham.
The director said all the producers thought he was making a porn film that also features Milind Gunaji.
“’I had to wait for two years to find a genuine investor for this project. Every Bollywood producer thought I was making a porn movie. No one was ready to read the script also because the title was Kamasutra 3D,’’ he said.
Based on the ancient Vatsyayana’s Kamasutra, the film has been shortlisted for Academy nominations in four categories. It is scheduled for release in May.
