MUMBAI: Indian Idol judge and singer Neha Kakkar and Romapreet Singh posted a video of their `roka’ or engagement ceremony on Tuesday, ending days of speculations.
Captioning the video, Neha wrote, “Here’s our roka ceremony clip! I love Rohanpreet Singh and family.”
Reports say the couple will have a registered wedding, followed by a marriage ceremony this weekend. A wedding reception will be held at Mohali on October 26.
Neha not only confirmed her wedding, but also released another video of a song she has penned for her marriage. She posted the song called `Nehu Da Vyah’ on facebook Wednesday, writing, “”First time in my life I created a song, all by myself.” The video shows imagined scenes of their romance, with Romanpreet introducing her to his mother.
Cheering his wife-in-waiting for the song, Romanpreet wrote, “My talented putt Neha Kakkar, you are amazing. Gana likha bhi khud compose bhi khud he kiya aur gaate to aap maharaaj kyaa he baat hai. Touchwood.”
