Poonam Pandey marriage ends quickly even as the actress had written while posting her wedding pictures: “Here’s looking forward to seven lifetimes with you”

BOLLYWOOD: Bollywood starlet Poonam Pandey, who married film producer boyfriend Sam Bombay on September 1, has decided to end her marriage after her allegedly assaulted her during honeymoon.
For his part, her husband has deleted their wedding photos from his Instagram account.
Poonam, who has filed a complaint with police in Goa after he allegedly assaulted her during their honeymoon, said Sam was always violent to her. But she thought his behaviour would change after their marriage.
She said she is ending her three-week-old marriage after she was beaten ‘like an animal’ by her husband.
The actress told the Times of India that she and Sam had an argument which escalated into physical assault on her.
“He began hitting me. He choked me and I thought I was going to die. He punched me in my face, pulled me by my hair and banged my head against the corner of the bed. He knelt on my body, pinned me down and assaulted me. Somehow, I managed to break free and bolted out of the room. The hotel staff called the cops, who took him away. I filed a complaint against him,” Poonam said.
Poonam said she won’t back to him. “I don’t think it’s a smart idea to return to a person who has beaten you up like an animal, without even thinking of the consequence. In a bid to save our relationship, I have suffered a lot. I prefer being single than in an abusive relationship. I have decided to end our marriage. It’s about time I moved on.”
Her husband has deleted pictures of their wedding from his Instagram account. The last entry of March 5 on his account reads: “Wisdom is always hindsight.”
Poonam had dreamt of spending “seven lifetimes” with him, but their marriage didn’t last even seven weeks.
