MUMBAI: Priyanka Chopra’s father Dr. Ashok Chopra, who has been suffering from cancer, died at the Kokilaben Ambani hospital here on Monday. He was later cremated at Oshiwara crematorium here
The actress had performed Mahamrityunjay pooja at her home on Friday to pray for the recovery of her dad.
The last time he was seen with Priyanka was during the Times of India awards in Vancouver in April this year.
The body was first brought to Raj Classic where the Chopra family lives.
A retired lieutenant colonel, Dr Chopra was admitted to hospital about three weeks ago. He is survived by wife Madhu, son Siddharth and daughter Priyanka.
