MUMBAI: The BA Pass actress Shilpa Shukla, who did some very bold scenes in the hit film, says sex is important in any relationship. But it shouldn’t be the only binding factor, says the Bihar-born actress.

“Sex is extremely crucial. But, if a relationship begins and ends at it, then it doesn’t make sense. It is not the only thing that binds two people together. Still, it’s a lot of fun!” the Chak De India actress was quoted as saying Mumbai Mirror.
Shilpa has separated from her husband Mohit Tripathi and said to be in a relationship with her BA Pass movie director Ajay Bahl.
About her new relationship, she told Mumbai Mirror, “I don’t want to demean our relationship by putting a label on it. When you do a film, the people you work with become family. With Ajay, I feel like I’ve know him for years.
“There are some questions to which I have no answers. I have become more spiritual of late and freed myself from worldly materialism. There is a drive towards renunciation. It’s a peaceful space to be in and I can’t describe the joy I feel.”
