MUMBAI (Sept 22, 2014): Ayushmann Khurrana’s brother Aparshakti, who makes his film in UTV’s Babbu Ki Jawani, tied the knot with his girlfriend in Chandigarh.
Ayushmann and his wife played the doting Bhaiyya and Bhabhi throughout the week-long celebration. In fact Ayushmann was in preparation for the wedding from long before setting aside some of his professional commitments to look into his brother’s wedding arrangements.
Over-the-moon in wedded ecstasy, Aparshakti spoke to me just he left for his wedding.
Says the radiant bridegroom, “Yessss, I am married…it happened on 7th Sept in Chandigarh and I am feeling sooo awesome and blessed, life could not have had better in store for me.Aakriti is adorable and my entire family totally loves her.”
The new Khurrana bahu is a professional.
Says Aparshakti, “She is a financial analyst and consultant. We met at Shiamak Dawar dance classes, though I know her from the past 7 years but we have been dating just for about a year.”
At the wedding Aparshakti’s bride wore a Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehanga while Aparshakti wore a Nikhil Shantanu sherwani
Ayushmann was very much at the helm of the celebrations.
Says the loving sibling, “Ayush Bhaiya and Bhabhi performed on the title track of Luv Shuv Te Chicken Khurana . Papa-Mumma danced to Aaj kal tere mere pyaar ke charche har zubaan par and my friends danced to Veere di wedding.It was a wedding straight out of a Yash Chopra film.”
