MUMBAI: It is wedding bells for South Indian bombshell actress Namitha.
The sultry actress is getting married on November 24 to her boyfriend Veerandra Chowdhary who is known as Veer. Veer is a film producer as well as an actor.
Namitha broke millions of hearts by announcing her marriage through a YouTube video. “Veer and I are getting married on November 24th at Tirupati,’’ Namitha also confirmed to Deccan Chronicle.
“It is a love- cum-arranged marriage. Our best friend Sashidhar Babu introduced us last year in September and slowly, we became good friends,” the actress said.
Namitha said Veer took the initiative to propose to her. “On September 6, 2017, he popped the question very romantically on the beach, where he had arranged a candle light dinner for us. I was completely taken by surprise, as I did not expect it! That’s how it started.”
She said her would-be husband is her best buddy and soulmate.
“We share similar life goals and we both are spiritually awakened. We love travelling, especially trekking and being one with nature. Also, we love animals and we both are passionate about life itself. I feel blessed to be with someone, who makes me his priority. There was no running-chasing game. In the last three months, the more I understood him, the more I felt lucky to even be with him. My faith in men is restored again with his gentle care and support.”
