NEW YORK: August 16 is pop diva Madonna’s birthday as she born on this day in 1958.
She may be worth over $500 million today, but when she was young she posed nude to earn $10 an hour.
That was in 1977 when 18-year-old Madonna was nothing.
As a dance student at the University of Michigan, Madonna posed nude for photographer Herman Kulkens to earn $10 an hour. Those nude photos of Madonna surfaced in 1985 when she had become famous.
Some never-seen nude pictures of Madonna have surfaced afew years ago. In one picture, a young nude Madonna is seen combing a woman’s hair. In another photo, Madonna is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a blanket draped around her legs.
According to Daily Mail, these these sensational images are now owned by Wall Street trader turned entrepreneur and financier Jeremy Frommer who bought Penthouse founder Bob Guccione’s entire estate from his creditor last year.
Photogarpher Kulkens, who took the nudes, once said that young Madonna reminded him of Cleopatra. He and his wife got the rights from Madonna for a small amount to “sell or use” her photos “as they saw fit.”
