MUMBAI: Of late, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has been targeting the Nehru family for naming so many public places after Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
Earlier this week, Rishi hit out at the Congress for naming important places such as roads, railway stations and airports after the Nehru family.
In one tweet, he said,“Change Gandhi family assets named by Congress. Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road. Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha ?”
We must name important assets of the country who have contributed to society. Har cheez Gandhi ke naam? I don't agree. Sochna log!

The 63-year-old actor questioned why important places were not named after tall leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi or Bhagat Singh.
Why Indira G airport International ? Why not Mahatma Gandhi or Bhagat Singh Ambedkar or on my name Rishi Kapoor. As superficial! What say?

On Thursday, the actor said in a tweet that as many as 64 places in the Indian capital alone are named after the Nehru family which has ruled much of of time since independence in 1947.
THINK. There are 64 prominent places named after them only in New Delhi! Do you need that many to commemorate them? pic.twitter.com/zdmVEAaal7
