MUMBAI: Salman Khan virgin even after having so many affairs?
Nobody can believe it.
But Salman Khan, who opened season 4 of Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee With Karan’ on Sunday, revealed that he is still a virgin at the age of 47.
“I am a virgin,’’ said Salman Khan, surprising the host Karan Johar.
“I’m going to save myself for the one that I get married to,’’ said the Bollywood super star.
Jokingly, Salman Khan narrated that he came close to marrying his former girlfriend and Miss India Sangeeta Bijlani. He said the wedding cards were ready to be distributed. But then they broke up. The reason for his break-up with Sangeeta, he said, was that he made the mistake as he was caught cheating on her!
He admitted he lies quite often.. That’s why how he can be a virgin if he got caught cheating on Sangeeta Bijlani!
Salman Khan virgin – reason?
The actor said that there was a time when he wanted to marry, but now he is not enthused by the idea.
“There was a time that I really did want to get married, and then it just didn’t work out. It always come so close, but then people have got cold feet,’’ he said.
Then he added, “I am not the correct person to be with, the way I am right now in this phase of my life.’’
Salman Khan said he now loves sleeping alone.
Asked about his reaction if he ever runs into any of his former girlfriends, Salman said, “Some I ignore totally… I don’t face them. I am sure by that it would mean you cannot look me in the eye and all. But that’s not the point. The point is now you are somewhere else. You have your own life. I don’t want that somewhere in somebody else’s mind that thought about ex-boyfriend you know.’’
However, Sangeeta Bijlani was still like her family member, he said.

About his fall-out with Shah Rukh Khan who has spoken about the issue on Karan’s show, Salman said Shah Rukh should have sorted it out on the night – Katrina’s birthday party in 2008– it happened.
“Why on this show? He could have come home,’’ Salman said, adding that “we will never be the best of friends again but I respect him. When people bitch about him, thinking they can gain brownie points with me by doing so, I hate that.”
