Masaba Gupta, the fashion designer daughter of the legendary cricketer Vivian Richards and Neena Gupta, gets engaged to the film proudcer in a starry ceremony

MUMBAI: Film producer Madhu Mantena’s engagement to dress designer Masaba Gupta on Tuesday evening turned out to be quite a starry affair. The Marriott in Juhu Mumbai glittered with the star turn-out.
An invitee reports, “Aamir Khan and Shahid Kapoor, two of Madhu’s closest friends in the film industry, were among the first to arrive and among the last guests to leave.Never known to be anything but on their perfect behavior, Aamir and Shahid just let themselves and go and had a ball till the wee hours.”
Others from the Bollywood industry who made their presence felt included Karan Johar, Raveena Tandon and Preity Zinta(among Madhu’s closest friends), plus the entire ‘Phantom’ gang(the production company co-owned by Madhu, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane, etc).
From the Telugu film industry, producer Allu Arvind was present to bless the couple.
Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra, rumoured to be B Town’s latest ‘it’ couple, were also seen at the engagement.
Masaba’s other actress-filmmaker Neena Gupta looked very much pleased with the engagement.
“Everyone partied till 5 am in the morning, before calling it day,” says the invitee.
