BOLLYWOOD: Former Miss Universe and Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen has finally opened up about her new love life.
It is well known by now that the 44-year-old Bengali beauty has a new handsome hunk in her life. He is Rohman Shawl. But he is just 29.
So there is a age difference of 15 years between Sushmita Sen and her new toyfriend.
In an interview, Sushmita Sen narrates how they met and how he kept his age secret from her.
The former Miss India tells Film Companion that she met Shawl on Instagram.
“I don’t check my DMs (direct messages), I never opened direct messages. I was shouting at somebody in the house because they had just broken a glass and I had a touch screen phone in front of me and I was just scrolling direct messages and I don’t know while saying something, I accidentally pressed and opened this message. And there is a gentleman there playing the guitar and saying the loveliest things and I am thinking, ‘Who is he?’
“There was this very good looking sweetheart of a man who was just honestly telling me something so I responded back to him and forgot about it. From there started a conversation because I actually believe niceness begets niceness. He was so nice, open and kind. He (Rohman) kept hiding his age for some reason. I kept asking him how old are you and he was like, ‘You guess’. Then I realized how young he was and as to why he did not want it to get in the way of this conversation. So yeah, we did not really choose this. It was chosen for us.”
The two are now madly in love as they share their pictures – cuddling each other and exercising together – with their fans on social media.
Will the former Miss Universe, who has been linked with various men in the past and has two adopted daughters, finally tie the know with her new beau? Only time will tell.
But, right now, the two lovebirds are enjoying their newly ignited romance to the hilt.
