MUMBAI: After Bollywood and south India, Punjabi cinema is the fastest growing entertainment industry and many Bollywood stars are eager to partake of it.
The latest to join the bandwagon is Zarine Khan who entered Bollywood with the film Veer opposite Salman Khan.

Zarine has been roped in by Rohit Jugraj at a very `lucrative amount’ for his film Jatt James Bond to act opposite Gippy Grewal.
She will be the second mainstream Bollywood actress to join the Punjabi film industry after Neha Dhupia signed for Jimmy Shergill’s Rangeelay.
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has also announced to enter Punjabi cinema.
The Khiladi, who has appeared in the role of a Punjabi munda in various Bollywood films such as Namastey London and Singh is Kinng, is producing `Bhaji In Problem’ in Punjabi.
The Amritsar-born Akshay, whose real name is Rajeev Bhatia, will also act in the film which may be released later this year.
Even Sunny Deol, whose mother tongue is Punjabi, has also said that he is not averse to acting in Punjabi films.
