Amritpal Singh Aujla, the Indo-Canadian man, is mistakenly released from Maplehurst Correctional Complex jail in Ontario

TORONTO: A 28-year-old Indo-Canadian man was mistakenly released from Maplehurst Correctional Complex Monday night.
Halton Police are now looking for Amritpal Singh Aujla who got his freedom mistakenly error from the jail.
Police were informed about the mistaken release at 11 pm on Monday night that Amritpal Singh Aujla had been released in error from the facility.
They are seeking help from the public in locating the Indo-Canadian man. He was last seen leaving the correctional complex on foot.
Aujla is described as east Indian, 5’10” tall, slim, weighs roughly 170 lbs and black shoulder-length hair, black beard. He is wearing a black Tommy Hilfiger track suit with a large Tommy Hilfiger symbol printed in the middle of the chest.
He was reportedly carrying a black backpack when he left the jail.
