Sunny Leone children: Porn star-turned actress says she has promised her daugher Nisha to protect her with every ounce of her heart, soul and body

MUMBAI: As outraged Indians across the country come out in protests over the rape and killing of an eight-year-old Muslim girl in Kashmir, Canadian-born porn star-turned-actress Sunny Leone has posted something on social media about her adopted daughter Nisha Kaur Weber.
In an Instagram post, Sunny Leone says, “I promise with every ounce of my heart, soul and body to protect you from everything and everyone who is evil in this world. Even if that means giving my life for your safety. Every child in the world should feel safe against the evil hurtful people. Let’s hold our children a little closer to us! Protect at all costs!!!!’’
Sunny, whose real name is Karenjit Kaur Vohra, was born in Sarnia in Ontario in 1983. Her family moved to California when she was a teen. Both her parents are dead and she has a brother named Sandeep who is a chef in the US. She entered the porn industry after posing for Penthouse.
She came to India to take part in the top reality show Big Boss in 2011. When her porn background came to light in India, she got offers for roles in Bollywood. Today, she is an established Bollywood actress and an item girl.
With her husband Daniel Weber, she has made Mumbai her new home. The couple adopted Nisha in June 2017 from an orphanage.
Sunny Leone children through surrogacy
In early March 2018, Sunny Leone announced that she has become mother to twin boys – Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber – born through surrogacy.
“We chose to do surrogacy with a fertilized egg from Daniels genes and my genes. Asher and Noah are our biological children and God sent us a angel surrogate to carry our boys until they were born,’’ Sunny announced on social media.
Posting a picture of herself and husband Daniel with the twins and Nisha, Sunny said, “God’s Plan!! June 21st, 2017 was the day @dirrty99 and I found out that we might possible be having 3 children within a short amount of time. We planned and tried to have a family and after so many years our family is now complete with Asher Singh Weber, Noah Singh Weber and Nisha Kaur Weber. Our boys were born a few weeks ago but were alive in our hearts and eyes for many years. God planned something so special for us and gave us a large family. We are both the proud parents of three beautiful children. Surprise everyone!’’
