NEW DELHI: In a weird incident in the Bharthana area of Etawah district in Uttar Pradesh last Wednesday, a bride fainted at her wedding ceremony when she came to know that the groom was bald.
She refused to marry the groom who has been identified as Ajay Kumar. The marriage party had to go back without the bride.
Reports say the groom hid his baldness with a wig. When the bride exchanged garland with him at the wedding ceremony, she found that the groom was constantly adjusting his headgear placed over the wig.
Someone from the bride’s side noticed that under the wig the groom was bald and told her.
The bride fainted. When she regained her consciousness, she called off her wedding.
The groom had to leave without her.
