Man secretly plants camera in Toronto washroom to record people

TORONTO: Toronto Police are looking for an Asian man who secretly planted a camera in a washroom to record people using the washroom.

The camera was planted in the public washroom of a business in the area of Midland Avenue and Silver Star Boulevard.

Police investigation determined that the accused entered the washroom on May 9 just before 6.30 pm. Once inside the washroom, he affixed a false wall socket to the wall of the washroom. The wall socket contained a camera to secretly record people using the washroom, police said.

The accused who planted the washroom camera has been described as Asian, 25-40 years of age, wearing short black hair, and of thin-to-medium build.

He was wearing a red sweatshirt/jacket with blue stripes on the sleeves, tan pants, blue shoes at the time of the crime.
