Thief strikes at night at nine Mississauga pharmacies

MISSISSAUGA: Peel Police has sought assistance from the public to identify a thief who has broken into city pharmacies and stolen cash and items.

Police say since the beginning of July, there have been nine pharmacy break-ins along Hurontario Street, in Mississauga. They occurred between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

In all the case, the suspect entered the pharmacies through the front door or front window by smashing the glass with a rock or unknown tool.

The suspect then fled the scene with a quantity of cash, medication, and narcotics.
