Toronto tutor sex assault involved Yue You of Oxford Learning Centre who sexually assaulted a teenage girl student on several occasions

TORONTO: A Toronto tutor has been charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl he tutored.
The accused Yue (Alex) Yu, 30, is an instructor at the Oxford Learning Centre at 44 44 St. Claire Avenue East in Toronto.
According to Toronto Police, the accused started communication with a 15-year-old girl whom he tutored at the learning centre. He communicated with her through texts and social media.
Then he met the girl outside the learning centre which is strictly prohibited by the policies of the learning centre.
The accused sexually assaulted the girl on several occasions, according to police.
He was arrested on May 1 by members of the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre which comprises specialized child abuse investigators from the Toronto Police who work with local community and government agencies.
The accused has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference with a person under the age of 16.
He will appear in court at College Park on May 31.
