Sikh student saves girl from committing suicide at Sharda Hospital in NOIDA

Showing exemplary courage and quick thinking, Manjot Singh Reen, a B.Tech student of Sharda University in Greater Noida on the outskirts of Delhi, saved a girl from committing suicide just in the nick of time.

The girl belongs to Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. She is reportedly mentally disturbed and was brought to the hospital for treatment by her family. She was about to jump more than 25 feet down when Manjot Singh grabbed her arm and pulled her up with help from others.

The young Sikh student, who hails from Jammu, was later honoured by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) for his exemplary courage.
