Brampton man wins $207,825 in Lotto Max, plans cruise vacation

BRAMPTON: A Brampton resident plans to take his wife on a cruise vacation after he won $207,825 in the Lotto Max draw on June 25.

Calbert Humphrey, 54, who bought the winning ticket at the Canadian Tire gas bar on McLaughlin Road in Brampton, says, “I brought a pile of tickets to check all at once and was very happy when I realized I won.”

An OLG press release quotes him as saying that he will spend the money on home renovation and a cruise vacation with his wife.

“She wants to go on a cruise,” he says of his wife.

Lotto Max is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

“Lotto Max players in Ontario have won over $6.5 billion since 2009, including 87 jackpot wins and 714 Maxmillions prizes, right across the province,” says the OLG release.
