BRAMPTON: Adam Khan, a 25-year-old man from Brampton, has been arrested and charged with child pornography.
In January 2021, Peel Regional Police officers from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit began an investigation about an unknown user having child pornography while using social media platforms and remote storage services.
The investigation showed that from April 2020 to December 2020, the user had used several social media platforms and remote storage services under the following names:
– refinedkaos
– refinedchaos
– gray
– adam Khan
On May 26, police identified the user as Adam Khan, arrested and charged him with possession of child pornography.
Executing a Criminal Code search warrant, investigators found that a home-based child-care service – ChildSpec Licensed Home Day Care Services – had been operating out of his residence in Brampton.
Police are investigating his connection or involvement with the operation of the daycare or care of the children.
