MISSISSAUGA: Jasdeep Dhindsa, a 28-year-old man from Mississauga, has been arrested for possessing drugs and a loaded firearm.
Dhindsa was arrested at about 11.10 pm on October 12 after Peel Police officers checked a suspicious vehicle parked in a parking lot in the area of Derry Road East and Maxwell Road in Mississauga.
During the search, officers located a quantity of drugs along with a loaded firearm.
Dhindsa was arrested.
He has been charged with:
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm,
– Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
– Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
– Breach of release order
The offender appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on October 13.
