MUMBAI: America’s desi girl Monica Gill, who made her acting debut in hit Punjabi film Ambarsariya opposite Diljit Dosanjh, will now be seen in JP Dutta’s Hindi film Paltan.
Says producer Nidhi Dutta, “Monica fits the role perfectly and her charm and energy is so contagious, it’s exactly what the character needed.”
In the film, Monica will be the love interest of Harshvardhan Rane.
Born in Massachusetts in the US to Sikh parents, 28-year-old Monica was Miss India USA 2013.
After Amabarsariya, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Firangi in 2017
Monica came to India to participate in the TV show, India’s Next Top Model, but destiny took her into films.
