Sana Khan joins Tamil actress Monica, Zaira Wasim, beauty queen Burkha Madan and Mamta Kulkarni to quit the entertainment industry for religious reasons

BOLLYWOOD: Sana Khan is the latest actress to quit the Indian entertainment industry for religious reasons.
The 32-year-old actress, who was a contestant on ‘Bigg Boss 6’ and ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6,’ announced her decision on Instagram October 9.
Sana, who was also seen in the 2014 Salman Khan-starrer Jai Ho, wrote that she now wants follow the path of her Creator.
“I declare that from today onwards, I have resolved to say goodbye to my showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator. All brothers and sisters are requested to pray for me to Allah to accept my repentance and grant me the true ability to live in accordance with my determination of spending my life following the commandments of my Creator and in the service of humanity, and grant me perseverance in it,” she wrote.
“All brothers and sisters are requested to not consult me with regards to any showbiz work henceforth,” Sana Khan added.
Young actress Zaira Wasim, who co-starred with Priyanka Chopra in Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink in 2019, also announced to quit films just before the release of the film last year.
A few years ago, famous south Indian actress Monica suddenly converted to Islam and quit films.
In 2012, former Miss India contestant and Bollywood actress Burkha Madan too quit films to become a Buddhist nun.
Earlier, actress Mamta Kulkarni had quit the film world to become a yogini.
