Welcoming the engagement of American singer Nick Jonas with Bollywood-Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra last week in Mumbai, Rajan Zed, who is president of Nevada-based Universal Society of Hinduism, says Nick Jonas should spend some time in an ashram (hermitage) in India, take a dip in the holy Ganges river and read ancient Hindu scriptures — the Vedas, Upanishads, the Gita.
The Hindu leader said bathing in the sacred Ganges will help Nick Jonas as it purifies a person of all sins, and its water if taken daily confers immortality.
Zed said ashram stay would help bring Jonas tranquility, spirituality and serenity. It will also help him understand where your partner is coming from in spiritual/religious sense.
