“Smoking is awful!!! Yuck!!!,” wrote Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in 2010.
Then in 2018 just before Diwali she exhorted her fans in a video not to pollute the atmosphere by bursting crackers.
The actress, who is asthmatic, said in the video, “Please meri saans ko berok rakhiye. Diwali pe patakho ko skip kijiye (Please let me breathe freely by not bursting crackers on Diwali day).”
Diwali, she said, is about “lights and laddoos and love, and not pollution.”
But Priyanka seems to have forgotten all this and her asthma after marrying American singer Nick Jonas.
A picture showing her smoking on a yacht in Mumbai just just days after 37th birthday on July 18, has led to a severe backlash against her on social media.
Trolls are right in calling her a “hypocrite.”

At her birthday party hosted by her husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka was seen blowing the cake sparklers after cutting her birthday cake.
Since you are not supposed to blow off the cake sparklers, Priyanka faced fury from netizens.
