The CGI Toronto camp at Jagannath Mandir in Brampton will address only long-pending issues, not provide consular services at the spot

TORONTO: As COVID restrictions ease, the Indian Consulate General (CGI) Toronto is organizing its first-ever post-pandemic camp to address the consular issues faced by the Indo-Canadian community.
The first consular camp will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on August 7 at Jagannath Mandir at 9893 Torbram Road in Brampton.
The representatives from the Consulate will address issues related to passports, visas, OIC cards, attestation of documents, surrender certificates and life certificates.
The camp will address only long-pending issues and not provide consular services at the venue. “However, the applications, if found in order, will be approved for submission at the BLS Centres. Applicants are requested to bring original passport and PR card with them for verification,” says the CGI Toronto in a statement.
Those attending the CGI Toronto camp must follow COVID-related protocols, wear masks and follow the directives of the organizers at the Temple.
