TORONTO: Weird things happen quite often in Canada which has no dearth of crazy and mentally unstable people.
Last Friday, Megan Batchelor, a reporter with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), was doing a live hit from the Squamish Valley Music Festival for her Vancouver studios when a weirdo ran up to her and tried to kiss her.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is looking for the offender and has asked the public to come forward for any information about the man..
After the incident, the woman reporter said, “As much as I’m not physically hurt, I’m rattled. I was just doing my job when this happened and I feel like he deliberately tried to interfere with my ability to do my job just for a laugh.’’
