Brampton man Lav Chopra arrested for eight robberies

BRAMPTON: A 21-year-old Indo-Canadian man from Brampton has been arrested for multiple robberies in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Lav Chopra, who was arrested on April 6, has been charged with eight counts of robbery and eight counts of Disguise with Intent.

As per investigations by Peel Police, Chopra is responsible for robberies of five banks, two financial services company, and one commercial business in the GTA. The robberies  took place between March 23  and April 5.

Chopra has been involved in four robberies in Brampton, three robberies in Toronto and one robbery in Vaughan.
