The teacher charged with Toronto school sexual assault works with Toronto Catholic District School Board
TORONTO: Brian Ross, 36, a teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board, has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl student.
The alleged sexual assault took place in March 2017 when he met the 15-year-old girl. He drove her to his residence to discuss school issues and sexually assaulted the girl.
He has been charged with sexual assault and will appear in court on May 3.
Ross taught at two different secondary schools and was involved in coaching athletics, say Toronto Police.
The accused taught from September 1, 2006, to August 31, 2016, at Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School, located at 1107 Avenue Road. From September 1, 2016, to February 18, 2019, he taught at Senator O’Connor College School, located at 60 Rowena Drive.
