BRAMPTON: A Brampton shooting in February after which a huge haul of drugs and arms was found has led to the arrest of four men on Saturday.
On February 27, 2021, police responded to Sandalwood Parkway and Fernforest Drive in Brampton to the report of gunshots. Investigation revealed that two motor vehicles were struck.
Police found no evidence of injuries. But several shell casings were discovered from the spot.
The following day investigators executed searched a residence in Brampton and seized a huge cache of arms. It included:
Dominion Arms Rifle, Airsoft gun, Smith and Wesson CTG, two bulletproof vests, a chest holster with a neck gaiter, extended loaded magazine, drum magazine, laser site, a loaded magazine, three boxes of ammunition, and Remmington .223 rounds.
On Saturday, June 5, investigators, with the assistance of the Tactical Unit, executed another search warrant in Brampton. As a result, three firearms, several rounds of ammunition, a drum magazine, and a large number of drugs were seized.
