BRAMPTON: Simanjit Sangha, 34-year-old Brampton man, has been charged with numerous driving offences after he was caught driving while banned not to drive.
Sahota was caught on November 17 when officers from Road Safety Services Safer Roads Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hubbell Road and Rivemont Road in the City of Brampton.
The investigation revealed that Sanha has been prohibited from driving and that he was a suspended driver with an extensive criminal driving history.
He has been charged with:
– Four counts of driving while prohibited.
– Driving under suspension.
Sahota was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton to face the charges.
Police have laid over 70 charges in relation to driving offences, including impaired driving, dangerous operation of a vehicle, prohibited driving, disqualified driving, and driving while suspended during the past six months.
