BRAMPTON: A Brampton man killed his wife and son before ending his own life on Friday.
Peel Police received a call at about 5.44 am about a stabbing incident on Josephine Court in Brampton. Upon arrival, officers located two victims with life threatening injuries inside the residence.
The first victim has been identified as a 53-year-old mother of four. She died as a result of her injuries. The second victim has been identified as her 13-year-old son, who was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The 51-year-old suspect who is the husband and father of the two victims fled the residence in a vehicle and ended his own life in the area of Williams Parkway and Highway 410 in Brampton.
Police say they are not releasing the names of the victims and the suspect to respect the family’s privacy.
