Saranjeet Singh of London held for harassing women

BRAMPTON:  Saranjeet Singh, 22, of London in Ontario, has been charged with criminal harassment of multiple women.

He has been involved in harassing at least six women not known to him.

According to London Police, Saranjeet Singh would drive around in a 4-door black Honda Civic to harass women.

The accused appeared in court in London on November 5. He has been released before his case comes up for court hearing.

Singh, already with charged in relation to multiple harassment incidents, was arrested again on October 27 after another incident of harassment by him. 

In that incident that happened at about 1.05 pm on October 23, a 21-year-old woman walking to a residence on Patricia Street in London observed a black Honda Civic following her at a slow rate of speed. Fearing for her safety, the woman continued walking, and entered the home on Patricia Street where she contacted police. 

Singh parked his vehicle in the driveway of her home and knocked on the door of the house repeatedly. When there was no answer at the home, he returned to his vehicle and sat outside the home. 

Police came and arrested him. 

After his arrest, police investigated two other incidents between October 16 – October 18 in which Singh was involved.

He was charged with:

– Criminal harassment by repeated following; and

– Criminal harassment by watching and besetting.

Police, who have described Singh as of dark complexion, about 5 ft 10 inches tall,  weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes and a full black beard, have asked the public not approach or engage with him.
