Mississauga hit-and-run driver failed to remain at the scene

MISSISSAUGA: A 63-year-old woman has died in Mississauga after she was hit by an unknown vehicle on Tuesday evening.
The offender fled the scene.
According to Peel Police, the accident happened southeast of Highway 410 and Courtneypark Drive East in the area of Tomken Road and Meyerside Drive at about 7.45 pm when emergency crews attended the injured victim.
She was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries an hour later.
Police are treating it as failure-to-remain collision and looking for the suspect.
