MISSISSAUGA: A 33-year-old Toronto man has been arrested and charged with producing fake COVID-19 test documents on landing from an international flight at Pearson airport.
According to Peel Police, its officers were contacted by a quarantine officer from the Public Health Agency of Canada in regards to receiving a fake COVID-19 test document from a international passsenger at about 2.30 am on Saturday.
The passenger was arrested and charged with producing a forged document.
The accused remains with representatives from the Public Health Agency of Canada for further processing.
He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on a future date.
