Mahaakshay Chakraborty rape case is an embarrassment for Bollywood star Mithun Chkraborty as his son accused of sexual exploitation by a woman on the pretext of marriage

MUMBAI: A rape case has been filed with city police against Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty.
The 38-year-old woman, who filed the case at the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai on Saturday, says she was sexually exploited on the pretext of marriage by the star son from 2015 to 2018.
The woman alleges that Mahaakshay Chakraborty took her to his apartment in Andheri in 2015 where he allegedly raped her after spiking her cold drink.
She says when she told him that she is pregnant, he asked her to abort the baby. She says he gave her medication for the abortion.
The woman says he kept sexually exploiting her by promising her to marry her.
But in 2018 when he married actress Madalasa Sarma, the woman filed a complaint with police in Delhi where she was staying with her brother.
A Delhi court asked her to file a fresh complaint with Mumbai Police as the alleged offence took place in its jurisdiction.
Mahaakshay’s mother Yogita Bali is also named in the FIR.
