BRAMPTON: Five Indo-Canadian men have been arrested for a brawl assault in Brampton on July 16.
According to Peel Police, several parties armed with sticks and cricket bats attended an event in the area of James Potter Road and Bonnie Braes Drive in Brampton at about 6 pm on July 16.
One person was assaulted, resulting in minor injuries.
Peel Police investigators identified and arrested five Brampton Indo-Canadians for the assault and charged with various counts.
Abhishek, 20, has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Manoj Kumar, 51 faces one count of assault with a weapon and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Mohit, 19, has been slapped with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Tinu, 19, too faces one count of assault.
Havee Havee, 26, has been charged with one count of assault.
