TORONTO: In yet another case of desecration of a Hindu temple in Canada, the Ram Mandir in Mississauga in the Toronto suburbs was vandalized by pro-Khalistan miscreants on Tuesday.

Miscreants sprayed the temple walls with `Declare Modi terrorist (BBC). Hindustan Murdabad.”

Another graffiti on the temple walls read: `Sant Bhindrawale is martyr.”

Reacting to the latest incident of desecration of Hindu temples in Canada, the Indian High Commission in Ottawa said, “We strongly condemn the defacing of Ram Mandir in Mississauga with anti-India graffiti. We have requested Canadian authorities to investigate the incident and take prompt action on perpetrators.”

Mississauga mayor Bonnie Crombie said, “I’m angered by the hateful and divisive graffiti defacing Ram Mandir today. These blatant attacks are not reflective of our City and region’s diversity and will not be tolerated. Peel Police are investigating and working with the community to ensure their safety.”

The desecration of the temple comes just days after the Gauri Shanakr Mandir in the neighbouring city of Brampton was vandalized by pro-Khalistan elements.
