Peel Region thefts unearthed after four-month investigations into residential break and enters, thefts, and thefts from vehicles, in downtown Brampton and area

BRAMPTON: Thirteen persons have been arrested and charged 66 criminal charges related to thefts from residential homes and vehicles in Peel Region and surrounding areas.
Police have also recovered about $50,000 worth of stolen property.
From January to April 2021, police conducted an investigation into residential break and enters, thefts, and thefts from vehicles, in downtown Brampton and area.
During this time period, multiple search warrants were conducted within Peel Region and surrounding area.
Since some of the crimes might have gone undetected or unreported, police are seeking assistance from the public in checking their outbuildings, including garages and sheds.
