Canada snap elections would bring the Liberals back to power as they enjoy a seven percent lead over the Conservatives, says a survey

TORONTO: The Canadian snap elections are around the corner as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberals stay ahead of the Conservatives by a head.
A latest surveys also shows that Trudeau is the first choice for PM and Jagmeet Singh the second.
The survey by Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies shows that the Liberals enjoy a 7-point lead over the Conservatives nationally among decided voters.
According to the survey, 36 percent respondens said they would vote the Liberals and 29 percent the Conservatives.
Only 20 percent said they would vote the NDP.
Nearly 48 percent of the respondents said the Liberals will win the elections.
Interestingly, 49 percent of Canadians say they are dissatisfied with the Trudeau government while 46 percent they are dissatisfied.
When asked who will make the best prime minister,
– 27 percent respondents said Justin Trudeau
– 19 percent said Jagmeet Singh
– 11 percent said Erin O’Toole.
For the survey, 2,079 Canadians were interviewed between July 30 and August 1.
