Altercation leads to murder in Mississauga

MISSISSAUGA: A 34-year-old man is dead following an altercation at a residence near Glen Erin Drive and Britannia Road West in Mississauga on Saturday.

During the altercation, which happened at about 10:45 am, the victim from Mississauga suffered life-threatening injuries. 

Despite first responders’ attempts to render aid, he died due to the injuries he sustained. 

A 21-year-old man, who is also a resident of Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with second degree murder. 

He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 26.

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident, surveillance footage, or dashcam that may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident, to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
