After the arrest of Naqash Abbasi and Suliman Raza, third suspect Anand Nath surrenders to police in Montreal

MISSISSAUGA: With 20-year-old Anand Nath of Mississauga surrendering to Montreal Police on Thursday morning, all three suspects in the shooting at Chicken Land restaurant in Mississauga have been arrested.
Two other suspects – Naqash Abbasi and Suliman Raza – werearrested by Peel Police this week.
Naim Akl, the 25-year-old son of the restaurant owner, was shot dead on when a gunman barged in and started shooting at the staff.
But the 56-year-old owner, his 44-year-old wife and their 22-years-old son survived the shooting.
A 58-year-old male employee was also injured in the shooting.
As a result of the investigation, police identified the three suspects behind the shooting.
Naqash Abbasi, a 31-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested on June 8 and charged with first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder using firearms.
Suliman Raza, a 25-year-old man from Mississauga, was arrested on June 9 and charged with first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder.
Anand Nath, 20, for whom a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued, is being brought to Mississauga from Montreal after his arrest there today. He too will be charged with first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder.
