The two Brampton Indo-Canadians tried to grab truck keys from the victim

BRAMPTON: Two Brampton Indo-Canadian men have been arrested with attempted carjacking.
Manjot Singh, 25, and Shivam Miglani, 20, were nabbed on Monday night from a commercial business in the city.
According to Peel Police, the incident happened at about 1.50 pm on Sunday when the two accused approached their victim when he parked his vehicle at a gas station in the area of Mississauga Road and Steeles Avenue in Brampton.
When the victim got out of his truck, he was confronted by the two accused, with one of them armed with a knife. They asked the victim to hand over the keys of the truck. When the victim refused, a scuffle broke out between them.
When the accused couldn’t get the keys, they fled from the scene. The victim suffered no injuries.
Police arrested the two men earlier on Monday morning from a nearby commercial business . They were charged with robbery.
The accused appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Monday.
